Congratulations to Maresa today for getting into her own place. We were able to help her make this last step of leaving homelessness by helping her with her budget and security deposit. She has been homeless on and off for the past couple of years, most recently living in her car at a park. Before that staying with friends but they have families she didn’t want to bother them by staying there. Before that she lived with her mom, but her mom passed away. With the help of our budget, her housing voucher, and our security deposit, Maresa was able to get a place of her own that she can afford for the long term.
