A big congratulations go to Daryl, Berniece, and their 3 kids today for getting into their own home today. They have been couch hopping with family and will now be together in their own home. We were happy to help them with a budget that determined the rent they could afford and with their security deposit so they could move in. We will soon be providing this family with much needed Furniture and Household Goods. Read Daryl’s story below.
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN THIS IS OUR STORY! SO I HAVE TWO 13 YEAR OLD SONS AND A 8 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER AND MY WIFE. WE WERE LIVING IN LANCASTER,CA. MY SONS ENDED UP GETTING MIXED UP IN THE WRONG CROWD AND GETTING INTO SOME TROUBLE AND EVENTUALLY SENT TO BOYS CAMP. I FELT AS A FATHER IT WAS MY OBLIGATION TO PROVIDE A SAFE AND HEALTHY ENVIROMENT FOR MY CHILDREN. SO I DECIDED THAT WHILE THEY WERE IN CAMP I WOULD UTILIZE THAT TIME TO “START OVER” AND GIVE THEM A NEW BETTER ENVIROMENT TO COME HOME TO. THEY HAVE A DATE TO COME HOME NEXT MONTH. NOW IM AFRAID THEY MAY NOT HAVE NO HOME TO COME TO. I DIDNT HAVE ANY MONEY SAVED BUT I CAME TO MY WIFES MOTHER HOUSE ON A WING AND A PRAYER WITH THE PROMISE WE WOULD ONLY BE THERE A MONTH OR SO! ITS BEEN 6! WE DO HAVE SECTION 8 SO THE RENT WOULD BE COVERED. WERE BOTH
LOOKING FOR JOBS OF COURSE.. IT WAS HARD TO FIND A PLACE WITHIN OUR VOUCHER AMOUNT BUT MY LOVELY WIFE DID IT! NOW IM AFRAID I MIGHT LOSE IT FOR LACK OF A SECURITY DEPOSIT. PLEASE HELP ME SAVE MY FAMILY…from Daryl
