Today we congratulate Alicia and her daughter for ending their situation of being without their own home and getting into a rental of their own. Alicia has been working diligently with us for the past 8 months to get housed. In fact, as she continued to try to get housed we updated her budget with her a few times until she was in a financial position to find a rental that would allow her to stay housed for the long term. Over that time and even prior to contacting us, she had been staying at shelters, motels, in her car, and with extended family when she could.
