Today we congratulate Letoya and her 2 kids for ending their homeless situation by getting into their own home. This family has been without a home of their own for 8 months. When Letoya called we built a budget with her and after she found a modest rental that fit this budget, we were happy pay their security deposit so they could move in. We will soon be providing this family with all the essential furniture they need to make their rental into a real home. Read Letoya’s story below:

Hi, my name is Letoya. About 8-10 months ago I started falling in some real hard times. I was in an abusive relationship so I was going through a nasty divorce. Through the midst of it all at the same time I got evicted so I lost my place had no where for me to take my two minor children, I lost my car, then my job, all in a 8 months time. I didn’t know what to do. My kids and I have been in and out of motels and staying from place to. Through the mist of it all GOD gave me strength and seen me through. I now have my job back, and with the help of off the streets I’ll have a home to take my kids to. I plan on getting a vehicle soon. I’m starting over, but everything has a reason.
