Aaron, our 12th person placed, had been homeless since Christmas of 2013 when he got laid off from his job. He was living in and out of motels when he could. Three weeks ago he finally found a job making $13/hour and that is when he called us. Through his financial review with our counselor it was determined that if he kept the cost of his rent low, he would be able to save money to build an emergency fund so that he would not have to worry about becoming homeless again. In just one week Aaron found a furnished room to rent and moved in last night!!! OTS is so happy to make him the 12th person we have helped get off the streets!
