Today we were able to help Misty get out of her homeless situation and into her own place by paying her security deposit. Misty is disabled and ended up homeless after her she had to move out of her previous rental due to a price increase she couldn’t afford. She has been couch hopping with a friend and due to her limited fixed income she needed our help with the security deposit to be able to move into her own place, which we were able to confirm with the budget we built with her. Both Misty and her landlord were a pleasure to work with!
